Things I build on my own time, with my own money. They are not client work and they are not a portfolio. They are where I find out what actually happens when you push something further than is sensible, which is the only way I have ever learned anything worth charging for.

A publishing project run by two of us. We built an AI writing pipeline and pushed it to full novel length, over and over, at our own expense. Not to prove it could be done. To find out exactly where it falls apart.
It falls apart in ways that matter to anyone paying for content. Quality sags rather than collapsing, so nobody notices until forty pages sound identical. Left alone it writes the most average version of any topic. And it develops tics you cannot see coming, like the draft that used one word 108 times without anybody asking it to.
That is the reason I will not fill a client site with generated pages. Not as a policy, but because I have watched what it produces at length.
A Niche Content Site
I also run a content site in a crowded personal niche, under no name at all. It is a test of whether the ordinary playbook still works from a standing start: posts mapped to real search demand rather than keyword volume, monetised with display ads and affiliate links, no bought links and no shortcuts.
It stays anonymous on purpose, which is why it is not named or linked here. That is the whole point of the experiment. If I attached my name to it, it would stop being a fair test of whether the method works without a reputation behind it.

Two other things live on this site rather than here: the books I wrote myself, without AI, and the paintings. Neither is a project in the sense above. They are just what I do when I am not working.
